Survivor lady suffered critical and needs surgery urgently : KGMU’s Doctors

Lucknow, Almost 40 hours after Unnao rape survivor suffered critical injuries to her body in a car crash in Rae Bareli on Sunday, KGMU’s Trauma centre Superintend Dr Sandeep Tiwari said her condition remains serious and the next 48 hours are extremely critical. The woman suffered a rib fracture, and bleeding in her lungs and the condition of the woman is serious she is on the ventilator. She has been unconscious since the time of the accident. She suffered serious head injuries and multiple fractures in legs. Her blood pressure is fluctuating and she is unable to maintain breathing without life support, Dr Tiwari added.

NCP, AIDWA and UP Congress unit separately held a massive demonstration in the state capital on Tuesday, and several workers including women were taken in custody when they marched towards the BJP office from the GPO, where they were sitting on dharna at Gandhi statue Hazratganj. The Congress agitation was led by their senior leaders including legislature party leader Ajay Kumar Lalu, legislators Aradhana Mishra, Aditi Singh and Deepak Singh, who raised demand for action against the BJP MLA and demanded his expulsion from the party.
