NEW DELHI: Royal Enfield on Tuesday teased the heavily reworked Classic 350, and announced the launch on September 1.
Classic 350 will undergo a handful of changes, both mechanically and cosmetically. Royal Enfield is set to replace the Unit Construction Engine (UC) with the J-Series engine — the same one which powers the Meteor 350.
The Meteor 350 entered the cruising category of motorcycles, replacing the Thunderbird. While information and details are under embargo, Meteor and Classic 350 will share multiple cycle parts.
In terms of features, the Classic 350 is expected to offer a Tripper system as an option. Tripper, Royal Enfield’s turn-by-turn navigation, debuted with the Meteor 350 last year.
Classic 350 is also expected to come under company’s MIY customisation programme.
