Actress Ihana Dhillon, who made her Bollywood debut with Hate Story IV, is looking for good scripts in Bollywood after a busy stint in the Punjabi film industry. After Hate Story 4, the talented actress had two Punjabi releases – Ghulam and Blackia.
She says, “I am based in Mumbai and I keep travelling to Punjab every now and then for work. Punjab is like a second home to me. I’ve been going through many story narrations and look tests. I got occupied with Punjabi films and couldn’t commit to any film. I am looking for good scripts where I get to perform and show my acting skills. After Hate Story 4, I received many offers but I wanted something different than what I have already done. I want challenging roles. I’ve no problem with bold roles if the script is really good. I want roles with substance.”
The actress also has been busy honing her skills. “I like to keep working on my acting skills. Whenever I’ve time and there is an acting workshop, I make sure to attend it. Be it voice modulation or facial expression, it just helps brush my skills.”
After Hate Story IV, Ihana shot with Arjun Rampal for his upcoming film Nastik. However, the film got delayed. Talking about the film, she quips, “It was a great experience working with him. He’s a senior actor and he was quite humble on the sets. I was a bit nervous before the shooting but he made me comfortable.”
Talking about her upcoming Bollywood films, she adds, “I’ve a few films in the pipeline but I cannot talk about it until they materialize. Once I’m allowed to talk about them, I will let you know.”
