HON’BLE GOVERNOR OF UTTAR PRADESH, MRS ANANDI BEN PATEL VISITS LUCKNOW METRO

Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Mrs Anandi Ben Patel today took a metro to reach Raj Bhawan from CCS Airport Metro Station. At the CCS Airport Metro Station, she was welcomed by Shri Kumar Keshav, Managing Director; other Directors and senior officials of the Uttar Pradesh Metro Corporation (UPMRC).

Shri Kumar Keshav explained her about the uniqueness and the features of the state-of-the-art infrastructure along with other amenities especially available for the differently able, women & senior citizens which are present inside the Metro Premises.

The Managing Director also briefed and gave an overview to the Hon’ble Governor of the unique design, technology and special features of the Lucknow Metro Train which is a combination of old and modern elements depicting the culture rich diversity & heritage of Lucknow. The Managing Director also presented her a Coffee Table book highlighting the Lucknow Metro’s journey since its inception at the Sachivalaya Metro Station.

Mrs Anandi Ben Patel felt quite impressed with the world class facilities of Lucknow Metro including Metro Depot which are at par with other Metros across the globe. She also lauded and appreciated the stupendous efforts of the Lucknow Metro team for their sheer dedication, perseverance and commitment in bringing a sea-change in the Mass Rapid Transit System of the city. Hon’ble Governor also appealed the commuters to adopt and inculcate the habit of using Metro for daily commuting which will gradually lower the air pollution and carbon emissions thereby making the environment-‘Clean &Green’.
